13 Undeniable Reasons Why The World Wouldn’t Be The Same Without Ohio

Whether you realize it or not, Ohio is a pretty vital state. It birthed irreplaceable inventions, destinations and individuals who have literally determined the course of history. Imagine a world without Ohio—and then be thankful that it exists.

1. Man may have never conjured up the courage to walk on the moon. 

 

2. Because of our swing state status, who knows how the close presidential elections would have turned out. 

 

3. Also, who knows who would have even ran our country throughout the course of history, (or the course history would have taken), considering the notable amount of presidents that came from Ohio.  

 4. We may not have ever discovered electricity. 

 

5. …and if someone else DID happen to stumble upon the invention of the light bulb, then the Northeast Blackout of 2003 probably wouldn’t have happened…(but that one’s irrelevant. Right?)  

6. These would probably be nothing more than just seeds and trees—and that’s kind of a really sad thought. 

 

 

7. America wouldn’t have the simple pleasure of a frosty or a square burger… 

 

There would be no Roller Coaster Capital of the World. DO YOU EVEN KNOW HOW DEPRESSING THIS WOULD BE?  

We probably wouldn’t even have rock n’ roll.
