1. Zip line
Zip lines aren't just for the tropics. There are actually several places
to learn how to zip line in Ohio such as Cumberland's Wild Zipline
Safari (pictured), Hocking Hills Canopy Tours and Glenmont's Tree Frog
Canopy Tours.
2. Weave your own basket
Whether you watch the basket weaving pros at work at the Longaberger
Basket Company in Newark (pictured), or you take a basket weaving class
at Hutchison’s Hilltop Haven at Hocking Hills in Rockbridge, you will
probably have more basket weaving knowledge than your out-of-state
friends.
3. Learn to sail
Don't have a friend or family member to show you the ropes of sailing
the open seas? Learn to tack, trim and cruise on Lake Erie at the Harbor
North Sailing School in Huron.
4. Make your own glass
Visit the Glass Pavilion at the Toledo Museum of Art where you can
create your own wine glass, vase or other glass work of art from
scratch.
